anyhow, my problem is such, i have a client with an old business card with a logo. I need a vector based representation of this card. Is there a way to do this from a scan? or does anyone have some suggestions, i have tried a tracing image, but it is just taking too long. thanx people!
If you are using Flash to vectorize the image, then import the image, paste it into Flash, select it and do Modify > Trace Bitmap, and make sure these settings are set correctly:
= Color Threshold: the less colors the card has, the higher this should be.
= Minimum area : Set at about 3
= Curve Fit: tight or very tight
= Corner Threshold: many corners or normal
