HP OfficeJet 520
Working on an OfficeJet 520. While printing documents it will stop printing between pages and say that there is a paper jam, when there actually isn't. I took it apart and cleaned it out really good, but it still happens. Anyone have any suggestions, or should I recommend replacing the unit, it is almost 3 years old.

It sounds like a limit switch or some optical sensor that reads paper jams is misfiring. A repair place could probably do a simple fix, but is it worth the money, considering what new printers cost? https://forums.windrivers.com/

Hey Steve thanks for the reply. I too thought it was a sensor problem, but I dont know too much about printer repair. I think I will suggest replacing the unit.

Also the paper pickup rolers may be damaged and not picking up the paper correctly, resulting in a paperjam.
