Hey,
I have and abit KT7-RAID board. Last night I installed the latest BIOS for the board. After a successful install, my machine rebooted and I entered the BIOS menu. I changed nothing and saved and exited. This time when my machine rebooted I got nothing. No system beep no nothing, just a blank screen. Is there anything I can do to save the board? Unplug the system from the wall for a few minutes and then try again. By switching off your not actually powering down the board on an ATX system. Next thing to try is to clear the BIOS, there should be a jumper on the board to do this (look in the motherboard manual) but if not then remove the battery and leave for an hour before refitting it and trying again. If that doesn't work, try removing and refitting the CPU, memory, Video card and IDE/floppy cables. If your not getting any lights on the case and no fans are spinning when you push the power switch, remove and refit the power cable to the motherboard. Also pull out and refit the power cable in the back of the PSU. Also check the fuse in the plug. If you are getting lights and fans then remove everything from the board INCLUDING the video card, just leave the soft power lead, the power supply cable to the motherboard, the speaker lead, the CPU and the memory. You should normally get two beeps from the speaker for a missing video card, if i recall correctly. If no beeps then you could have a faulty power supply (supplying incorrect voltage perhaps), blown CPU, faulty memory or duff motherboard.
It sounds as if the BIOS flash was successful, so it may just be coincedence that this problem has occured now.

Clear the CMOS on the Motherboard and reset it up again. When you update the BIOS on the KT7 family, it sets the BIOS back to defaults (including the CPU settings normally 5x100) and if the incorrect settings are used for the CPU it will not boot, until it is cleared again.

Ok i cleared the CMOS. It gives me 2 beeps. But my video card is good, as of yesterday it was at least. I just bought it a few months ago.
Reseat the vid card, sounds like it might have moved when you were fiddling around inside.....at least we're making progress! https://forums.windrivers.com/

Which revision BIOS did you upgrade to?
Does it give 2 beeps then switch itself off or does it stay on? If it switches itself off, make sure that the Heatsink & Fan is connected to HSF1 connector on the Motherboard as on some revisions of the Bios it would not boot unless it was connected to this connector.

Success!! The vid card wasn't seated all the way. That alwasy happens to me hehe.
