We built a system with a Jetway DVD 12X. with a J663AS MB (Jetway) and a Riva TNT2 Pro. Around 4 Minutes into playing the Movie Locks and you need to Ctrl, Alt & Del to get back to system. We have disabled power saving and screensavers. We are using Power DVD & WinDVD, both come up with same error. Any known issues?
make sure you have the most recent drivers for everything (yea, even the sound card could halt it). Also, try both referance and whoever make's the card drivers. Those might help ya. We've came across similar problems with lockups and DVDs, and this is what we usually try first
just as a last resort...try using a decoder card...I don't know if the vid card itself has it onboard, but hey, ya never know. ;)
