I've recently installed WINPRO2000. Whenever I attempt to go into "standby", I get error "device driver for SONY CD-RW CRX140E device is preventing computer from going into standby. You may need to update this device. Any help would be appreciated. :confused:
I would suggest the same as the computer.... update the driver. It sounds like you have a Dell. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I know Win2000 and Me have that funky Microsoft signature thing. It prevented me from installing a generic modem in a friends computer.
