I am looking for a replacement fan for my GeForce. I have something rigged but would like to get something more permanent. It is a model AP4512MX-G90 fan.

Also, if someone could point me in the right direction for removing the heatsink with out destroying the card. There are holes in the card so I know I could mount somehting new if need be.

in the past I have gotten fans from <a href="http://www.3dcool.com/?module=product&sku=VideoFreezer" target="_blank">here</a> but I have seen then other places also I cannot recall the website right at this moment.
I have a Geforce256 by Visiontek with the same fan. It failed also. I tried using the card without the fan and it works fine, even under heavy load. But it's not overclocked and it's no longer my primary gaming machine.
I've been looking at the same thing.. my vid fan is about to hit the dust.. I'm currently in a toss up between...

Yeah well I am convinced that the fan is worthless anyhow. I mean its a fan on a heatsink that basically has no fins. I am considering taking off the heatsink and installing a new one. I am afraid of wrecking the chip.
heat up the heatsink with a hair dryer or give the card some serious load before shutting down then removing the heatsink before it has chance to cool down, twisting it gently as you remove it.
