IE6
I have scavanged the MS site but must have missed it. Do any of you have the link to download IE6 for a later installation. or if I wanted to burn it to a cd for install off the cd. I looked under the network install section but couldn't find it. Thanks.
Ian.
P.S. it's been a long while but i'm back. I doubt any of you young'uns know me but I'm sure there are some old timers still around that may remember me. Either as Underfunded or as MuscleMan.
Well, its good to be back.

I had the same trouble as you. I looked for it to download the full thing a couple weeks ago and never found it anyway. You can order it on a CD for "free", but you pay $10US shipping for it.
If you do find it, let us know where it is because I'm sure we're not the only ones looking for it.

underfunded, you have to download the ie 6 setup file, run it and choose the custom install. it will then give you the option of saving all install files in a directory for a later install. you can then burn that to cd for a cd install.

If you want the full spectrum of installs (not just for particular OS's) then just sign up for the IEAK kit which then allows you to customise IE with your branding etc for deployment from your business & will work with all versions of windows rather than just the individual versions for each setup file..

There is a trick to downloading it that apparently only makes sense in Bill Gates's brain...
Download the small ie6setup.exe file from anywhere such as microsoft, or download.com zdnet etc. then do a custom install, and where you have the package selection screen, hit the 'advanced' button and select 'download only to be installed later' then after you click next, you can choose to download the versions for other OS's like WinNT, Win ME etc.
hope that helps~

This is your best option to download IE6:
