After playing a music CD, I lost the ability to read data from the drive. It's a new Acer 8x4x32 so it's not the drive. I can't seem to find anything wrong in windows 98.
Any suggestions?

If it matters, the music cd was purchased and not burned. Explorer shows the driver, but when access is attempted the message is:
D:\ is not accessible.
The device is not ready.
I have added verified instructions to autoexec.bat and config.sys
What could cause this message? How do i fix it?
