I had a copy of it from before ms bought it. And I used the demos that MS put out. I don't know how much MS is charging, but it's a pretty cool program. I use it to make flowcharts, and I used it to layout my new apartment and figure out where furniture was going to go.
It basically provides a quick and easy way to make flowcharts and site maps and things like that. It also provides you with a lot of common shapes that you'll need to do those things. You can lay things out, map them to one another, and then move them around easily if you want to change things. It's something that you could also do in Word or Illustrator or Pagemaker or other design programs, but if you are doing them often, then you might seriously consider this program. I don't know another one like it.
tk
I like both .. its kinda the same but with extra junk in there .. but for charts and things its great and when you need to mix it with office, it works much better now then it did in the old days before ms got it
I think the 2000 Professional version will map out your entire network automatically, or so I'm told.
We've got alot of Exec.s in our house that use the Standard version though. They all like it for exchanging the flow charts. :D
