AMD K6-3 speeds

When I visited the AMD web site I found two K6-3 processors available, the 400 and the 450. Looking at the home page of WinDrivers, I see a price listed for a third chip, the 500. What gives? Is someone getting chips that AMD ain't telling us about? Or do we have some re-marking going on out there on AMD processor? Any body know for sure?
Now we learn that AMD WILL release 500+ K6-3 chips when it goes to 0.18 microns.
I still want to know where the present 500s are coming from. Any guesses?
