ICQ

Hi, does anyone have this problem.

Everytime someone sends me a offline msg, it always shows up EVERYTIME i load icq, even when ive replied or something...It's got to the stage now everytime i load up icq, i gotta close 14 or 15 old messages everytime and its very annoying..I use icq 99b, i would upgrade but newer versions have got VERY bad reviews.

And also, people don't seem to get my offline messages.

I don't use it myself, but why don't you take an image of your system, then install ICQ 2000 (or whatever it is)?

That way you can run it a few days to see if it is any good, and if not you just put the previous image back on. No worries about it messing up the registry even after deinstalling, etc. that way and you get the chance to try it out.

Seems like you need to check all the ICQ settings. Most of the times you find the one which causes the problem.

It works fine for me. You've got nothing to loose if the problem still occurs.
