I need to be able to schedule the defrag of the drives in a W2K server. Is there a way to do it with Scheduled Task?
Thanks.

go here and use this tool: <a href="http://www.morphasys.com/autodefrag/index.htm" target="_blank">http://www.morphasys.com/autodefrag/index.htm</a>
some caveats, i could only get this to run defrag under the user that was logged into the box and if that user had admin rights.
i tried using a system and administrator account but it wouldn't work. it would kick off the job and show running but because it wasn't interacting with the desktop it was just hung in a 'running state' i think this is more a restriction of defrag and not this util.
it worked like a charm when the scheduled job was done by me and i was logged in. you know it's working right because you can actually see defrag launch and run.
Try out Diskeeper. Does a great job & is very flexible. Download the trialware to test it out!
