Most of the time, when I reboot, a message in the event viewer says pc rebooted from a bug check. What could cause this?
I had a win 2k server rebooting from a bug check. I searched the term "bug check" on google and came to the conclusion that it was driver related, as I read someone fixed their bug check with updated video drivers.
On mine it was updating printer drivers that fixed it.
I would look at your device manager and find newer drivers. Also it couldn't hurt to find the configuration that says "when a stop error occurs" and change it from the default of 'automatically reboot' (select 'system' from the control panel and search for it)
