Windows 2000 refuses to uninstall
I've followed your tricks trying to uninstall Windows 2000 Pro from my computer but it won't leave . I put the Windows 98 STARTUP DISKETTE and I booted my computer with it but it didn't work at all . After doing so, I placed the Windows 98 CD in the CD-ROM DRIVER but Windows 2000 doesn't recognizes it either . When I upgraded from Win 98 to Win 2K, I selected to convert my driver from FAT32 to NTFS (a very BIG MISTAKE
Now this damn Windows 2K doesn't recognize them . I never thought Win 2K was really NT 5.0 . Some computer nerd told me that if I convert from FAT32 to NTFS, my computer won't recognize the Win 98 STARUP Diskette .
I've tried to install drivers to make the modem, the keyboard (the multimedia buttons only) and the Intel 810 graphics chipset; but those drivers aren't recognized by Win 2K
I'm thinking of throwing away my computer and buying a new one . Any suggestions about this problem?? It's driving me crazy !
