Mixed up Drive order !!
When I reinstalled Win2K Pro, I noticed that my drives displayed in Windows Explorer and My Computer are in the wrong order and have the wrong drive letter asigned to them.
Under Win 98 it was:
A: Floppy
Primary -
C: Hardrive 1 (Main)
D: Hardrive 2
Secondary -
E: CDROM
F: CD Burner
Now its like this, under the same Primary & Secondary:
A: Floppy
D: CDROM
E: CD Burner
F: Hardrive 1 (Main)
G: Hardrive 2
This is confusing and annoying, but I am wondering why this happened, and if it's fixable? And if not, how can I prevent it if I want to reinstall Win2K? Please Help

You should be able to reassign drive letters by using Disk management. Right click "My Computer", choose manage, and from there go down to storage and Disk Management. Right Click on your drive and choose change "Drive letter and Path".
Now as for the "Why" part... I don't no. Seen a lot of 2k upgrades but never seen this happen. Best suggestion is to do a clean install, but the fix above helps too.
