Problems Combining Free Spaace
I have an extended DOS partition that did have five logical drives. I have deleted 2 of the logical drives with each logical drive being about 2 GB in size. My intentions were to combine the resulting 4 GB of free space, create a new logical drive, and install Windows XP Professional. I currently am running Windows 98, W2K Pro, and W2K Server. Pro and Server partitions are formatted in NTFS and Windows 98 partition is FAT32.
Is it possible to combine the two chunks of free space that I now have and create one logical drive? I have tried to accomplish this through FDISK but it will only show my D partition, which is in the Extended DOS partition when I choose to view the partition information. My D partition is 14 GB in size and is where I install all applications.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
