Yes, there is. First you need to download the Novell DOS client from Novell's site at http://www.novell.com/download/index.html. You will also need to find a DOS driver for the network card in the workstation. If it is a newer card then no DOS drivers may be available and you will be out of luck. You can find a quick list of Netware DOS drivers at www.bovistech.com/drivers.htm
Set this up for your server and workstation so that you get it all working and can login from DOS. Then copy the necessary files for loading up the network drivers onto a floppy disk. (Usually the entire contents of the Netware DOS client subdirectory) You may or may not be able to get the whole thing on one disk, I know I can't. Put these two lines in autoexec.bat on the boot floppy:
f: (or whatever the first network drive is)
login username
You will still have to enter the password, but if the user account does not have a password, you will not be prompted for one.
PLEASE NOTE THAT HAVING A USER ACCOUNT WITHOUT A PASSWORD IS A MAJOR SECURITY RISK AND AUTOMATIC LOGINS OF ANY TYPE ARE ALSO A SECURITY RISK
Just an addition to what Macgyver the Supreme Tech God- Novell ZENmaster said. U might also want to set your 1st startup device to ur floppy. Then create a bootable floppy diskette then, copy the contents of netware folder from driver diskette of your LAN card to nwclient folder.
Or if you want I uploaded a complete bootable disk my account but my space is limited so I would erase this files after two days. So copy it as soon as u can. go to www2.mozcom.com/~tcc/bootdos. Then copy the whole folder to a bootable disk. In the nwclient folder open the startnet.bat and replace the second line with the path of the driver you copied from the netware folder of your driver disk.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
I'll try to set up the whole thing.
My NIC Novell 2000 compatible so I think no problem with that.
Thanks again.
:)
So did it work?
