I decided to join the party..

Hello everyone.

I thought about it for a while and now I decided that I'm going to contribute to this forum as well.

I hope I can be helpful.

I do hold a CNA in Netware 5 and I have some experience with netware 3.2 and 5. as well as with clients version 3.0 and up (for win9x)

I can't say I gathered lots of experience on those systems - I had two netware server on in my site and another ina remote site the 3.2 (in my site) was used for a small group (30 ppl for a specific software) and the only problem I had with it in 2 years !!! is the time went off by 10 minutes :)

the last time I checked the uptime on that server it was on 485 days...

That's exactly why I haven't got a lot of practical experience on it - They don't seem to have any problem :cool:

anyway, I'm still gonna do my best...

hopefully I learn and re-learn stuff :)

to sum it up ? - da condor is in da house :)

Condor, the help is appreciated. My Netware 5.x experience amounts to ZERO as I currently administer a Netware 4.11 server that runs almost everything in my office except the kitchen sink! We are supposed to be upgraded to v.5 like over a year ago but nobody in my company seems to be in a hurry about it. When we upgrade, I'll learn a little more.

Myself I am but a Humble CNA, CNE 5, MCSE NT4.0,& 2000, MCP+I, Net+, Inet+, A+, with just a BS computer Sciences,(CSU-Burkeley)
MS Computer Sciences, (CSU-Fullerton).

Mac. is our Resident Expert, Novell Administrator, and with at least 500 years of experance!

I was talking about you experence not you age! After 2 years as a Network Admin for Novell, Win/NT, Apple Talk, Apple Share, Unix, Or any Network you have about 200 years experance, just dealing with Some of the gifted Users on the Network!

I was only kidding. :) But you're right, after dealing with ID10T users for this long, I deserve the extra experience!

well it's going to take some time for me to get back to the novell thinking ... in my current job my interaction with netware is almost nothing..

I'm gonna keep updated with what's going on and contribute when I have something to say...

with Mac around I'm sure I won't need to work a lot :)
