I know I'm not the only one to come accross this as most of my m8's have had it at one point or another, anyway the problem is when, but not always I play an FPS, say elite forces or UT, I play fine stop playing, goto shutdown and I get the BSOD and have to use the "hand of god button", if I reboot the comp is totally unaware that there was a prob, anyone got any quick fixes??? :confused:
sounds like it could be a video driver issue. might wanna try updating them.
I'm using the det3 driver from nvidia..., I've got the most up to date drivers on my system for most of my hardware, thank all the same, C'ya :confused:
how about incompatibilities .. try other hardware
Could even have some conflicts going on. If this only happens after you play one of the games, but not any other time. Maybe the game is not exiting correctly (are they all on the lasted patches?) Before you shut down after playing a game like that, do a "hand of god button" and see if anything from the games are still running...then shut down

Nar, check for conflicts there aren't any, but I do have an montego tbs a3d sound card, and it mostly happens when I've played the likes of dues ex, elite forces, Q3 arena, has happened once with Black and white as well...!?
