[RESOLVED] Win2000 / SGI networking issue...
Ok I figured I'd drop this into a Windows forum and see if I can get any ideas..first off I gotta say I have 3 systems..all using straight TCP/IP on the main machine I have a Gateway setup for a LinuX connection..I hope thats correct..now what I want to integrate into my network is an SGI Indigo2 Workstation, it's running Irix 6.2, which namely is another form of Unix..Now heres the dilema..I can't seem to get the SGI machine to be seen on the Win2000 machine, and the SGI machine to to see the 2000 machine..how should I set up the SGI machine to communicate with the 2000 machine? should I use as an IP address the Gateway IP number or should I use a different IP number..or if there is no clear way..should I route it threw LinuX? I really just want the SGI machine to go directly into 2000...
Please help a frustrated tech.... <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0">
