I have two computers with 10Mbit cards connected thru a 5 port hub. I want to know if you can setup TCP/IP protocol and how to do it without losing my Dialup setings (yes I'm still using dialup)!

Don't worry BigAl, your dialup settings will be safe. Since you didn't specify an OS i will assume you are using 98. StartMenu->Settings->Control Panel->Network
You have a couple peripherals listed, your dialup adapter and then there is your network card make. Below that you should see TCP/IP-your network card make. Double click the TCP/IP-network card make. It will ask if you want to specify an IP address or have it automatically assign. Click specify and type 192.168.0.1 for IP address and 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask, click okay, click okay, reboot. Do the same on the other computer except for the IP address put 192.168.0.2. Next, if you want to share files on both computer you need to click the file and print sharing button and check both boxes, this way you'll see both computers in network neighborhood. Oh yeah, under network click the identification tab, select unique names for each computer but give both the same workgroup name. That should do it for ya.
