I have the opportunity of adquiring a Pentium S 200 MHz or a Pentium MMX 200 MHz, and I dont know wich is the better of them.
(I would use the same RAM, hard disk, video card,... for both of them).
Can somebody help me?

I would definitely get the MMX one!
MMX stands for MultiMedia eXtension. An MMX processor supports has extra commands which are made for better Multimedia performance.
In addition to this, it's the latest Pentium processor Intel introduced before the PII one.

Before the Pentium II Family Came the Pentium MMX 233 and The Pentium Pro.
Definately MMX CPU better.
But make sure,what Your motherboard has second voltage regulator for supporting MMX (dual voltage) processor. Refer to manual for that.
MMX processors are consumes more power from voltage regulators,though.So,make sure You have enough cooling for regulators,especially if it not an impulse voltage regulators.
MMX is the best way to go as long as the MB can handle it
In the old days the p166mmx was about the same rating as a classic p200
Ruslan is correct - make sure your mb cpu socket supports dual voltage for MMX
i.e. 3.3v ext 2.8v int so check if you can set voltage to 2.8v
The classic cpu is 3.3v

Go for the MMX but if you can have a MB like a FIC VA-503 plus, later you could upgrade up to a AMD K-6 2 500 if you want.
P200MMX has a larger internal cache than previous processors had. If I recall, it was 32K instead of 16K, but it could have been 16k vice 8k. Either way, the MMX is better, but your motherboard must, as others have pointed out, support dual voltages or it is useless.
