I have a Linksys router, which connects all my pc's to my internet connection. I just installed Zone Alarm on all the pc's. I used to be able to see all the pc's on my network, now I can't. I removed the firewall and returned tot he original configuration, but I still can't see my other pc's.
Any ideas?
Did you uninstall zonealarm, or just disable it?
Can you ping the computers by name?
I can ping them, can't see them under Network Neighbourhood, and Zone Alarm is still installed.
Are there any ports that I need to open, because I'm receiving a Netbios error message in Zone Alarm?
What OS are you running on the clients? You don't need netbios on 2000 and up. If you have older OSs then you need to open up 139 and maybe 137.
