Friends Page - Info Needed!!

For those who have missed out info from the last weeks or so, JvaGuiy unfortunately, due to health and other issues, cannot go on with the Friends Page.
I have now been given the large responsibilty to try to fill his shoes, and will try to keep the spirit of the page like his was.
The rules for posting a photo are: 300 posts or a chatroom regular. (The way i will determine a regular chatroom person is through what an op tells me, or if they get given +v regularly). Also, a person his requested that those over 40 should be allowed on once at 100 posts, and I am willing to do this, so if you have info go to Windrivers.Friends and click the Send Photo link.

Also any comments/sugestions are VERY welcome, and i would love to here from anyone with them.

maybe you can get a clarification of who gets "+v", why, and when, how often..etc. i would be interested for one as would a lot of others i am sure! also, what is its purpose except to separate the haves from the have nots. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I dont think age should be considered at all. I am well over fourty but dont want any special consideration. Lets the rules stand they are fair to all. All your gray hairs are blong to windrivers. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

You said to put on a photo we must have 300 posts. So can I get all my other info up there and no photo, even if I do not have 300 posts?

I am letting it go, as a request from a member - i wasnt going to state it here but did - if it offends ppl, im sorry, i was just letting u know.

As for the +v, im just using that as a vague guide, as most helpful regulars get it.

Ok, in case this confused u, i will clarify it, the rules applies to being on there at all - not just for the photo.

Personal preference. Why do others stay on forum but never on chat? Same reason.

I was a chat virgin until last week. Try it, you'll like it (he LIKES it - Hey, Mikey!).

Tip: use mIRC rather than the java based chat link on the WinD homepage (less crashage).

some people do not type very fast ( like me 4-wpm)is my reason for not going to the chat room.it has taken almost a year to get 250 post,im at this site almost every day . <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I have mIRC, but I didn't know you could do that. I'll have to check that out tomorrow when I try it. Thanks for the tip!!
