BRAND NEW WinDrivers Photo Page!!

Well, after 2 weeks of coding, the new PHP/MySQL based WinDrivers friends page, this means it is faster and easier to add,edit or delete your entries and NO EMAIL ARE RERQUIRED!!

EVERYONE who wants to be on this page should go and add themselves, as at the moment its currently very empty.

I have enjoyed coding this page, and i hope you all enjoy using it :)

The OLD windrivers photo page still exists,but will never be modified again. Those that have photos on the old page and want to use their old photos should just enter the url for the old photos into the PHOTO ADDRESS field on the new page.

EDIT: A couple of people have reported errors uploading images to the page. It would be baest if everyone LINKS TO images, as although everything worked on my system, it seems the host has restrictions on uploading - i will see what i can do tonight. Sorry bout that :(

Are the email addresses we enter vulnerable to spam bots crawling the 'net?

Yeah i know EC, my free host doesnt support any form of PHP uploading.

If anyone knows of a free host that will support uploading, can spare space on their own host or has a decent connection and doesnt mind hosting it themselves, please contact me at [email protected] .

The server needs to have PHP4 and MySQL support, and be able to run phpMyAdmin, or even better, have shell access, so i can upload the database.

For now, that is the best way (and the preferred way) of doing things. I added the upload feature because people tend to link from free webspace that doesnt allow image linking....making a broken link.

Maybe just make the text bigger and bold on the news page so no more people ask about it.

Pssst!,.. No it isn't. Just every now and then it shuts down due to excessive bandwidth usage. Remember, it's hosted on Tripod. Heh heh. I can't help it that it's gained so much popularity so quickly. But soon (within a few months) it'll be on something more reliable. Ok,.. I'm not writing anymore about that in this thread. I don't want to turn the Burns FriendsPage thread into my promotional WebHead website campaign. :D

f2s.com used to have a GREAT php and mysql free homepage with no banners and a 20mb limit. unfortuantely they just quit providing that service, leaving me siteless and ftpless.
