It's Time To Get Off The Computer!

How does your spouse or significant other let you know that they want you to get off the computer?

My wife comes downstairs - my computer room/shop is in the basement - stands behind me and wraps her arms lovingly around my neck and chest. She starts licking me in the ear, and...

Then I wake up.

No, what she usually does is holler "You coming up ANYTIME SOON????" at the top of the stairs (and her lungs). Or if she's been folding laundry, she loves to fling the empty laundry basket down the stairs. She's developed quite the wrist action that generates maximum basket thumpage as it hits every step on its way down.

Doesn't matter... I still come up when I'm ready.

When she hits me with a baseball bat.

I'm single so I stay on as long as I want. Usually till I start falling asleep on my chair.

Mine has now given up asking when I am going to get off the computer!!!

She knows that I will get off it when I am good & ready and she does not control me. I am not spending as much time now on it as I have a lot of other things to do at the moment, such as dig my pond, lay decking down for a patio, finish off my driveway, try and find the money to pay for it all, etc,etc, so now all I get is 'when are you going to finish this lot off then???' <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

mine just "messengers" me to get my a$$ in... then i carry on with windrivers!

I remember the good ol' day's of having a girlfriend who nagged me about stuff like this. My wife has the perfect way to get me off when it is bedtime. She starts heading back to the bedroom and says "It's bedtime".

By the time she says "It's" I am half way back there, already stripping. Half the time she finishes what she is saying by saying something like...
"It's cold tonight"
"It's time to brush my teeth"
