Extreme mind bender time

Ok,lets have some fun.I once saw an episode of the X-Files,where a couple uploaded their brain waves,thought patterns,whatever to the internet.So a couple of questions go like this:

1-Would you do it?I guess it would be a case of immortality.
2-What web site,or sites even would you occupy?

I'll go first.

1-Why not.
2-Microsoft,specically Bill Gates pc.And I would occupy his pc,so that everything he'd try to do,would result in the blue screen of death. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
And if he thought he was slick,and used dos instead,I would return bad command or file name. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

No, I wouldnt do it....

However, some people are basically living in/on the internet....well at least the windrivers forums. Not to mention any names Darren. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

that was a episode subject matter for star trek also, i think, or was it star gate - no, it was star gate... the best sci-fi for along time, apart from star trek...(all series except ds9, which is boring)

Cute idea, but I'd be too afraid of getting formatted or getting a virus!

I think I'd go to a game server. But I'd move around a lot. I'd have a lot of fun, I think, sneaking into the server at www.aimovie.com and changing its answers to people every so often... <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I'm already in Cyber space and I am lonely. I want some friends to play with

mmm, interesting theme covered by just about every above and below average science fiction programme in the last 40 years...

However, I digress, I would have to say IF I did that, and I am not at all sure I would, I would go hide in the US FBI/CIA/NSA domains, and leak any info that I thought would be useful to the ordinary man. Having said that, it would be hard to judge what is useful and being kept underwraps for economic/political reasons. Would you end up doing more damage to the ordinary man if, say the technology to allow the entire world to stop using oil overnight existed? How much would that benefit the ordinary man in the short term? and in the long term? Hugely difficult balancing act...

Heh so mebbe I would leave that alone and just create mystery games for people to play that would educate them in consequences!

2. I would invade the Microsoft Knowledge Base turn it into a search engine that would take you to random Macintosh and Linux websites.
