Computer Pranks

Any computer prankers? And none of that wallpaper sissy crap either.

Because I love to mess with people just to see how they react to un-normal situations. For instance: Once I changed my boss’s startup sound and cranked up the volume. It said "I'm Gay"! And the proceeded to play this chunky loud fart.

It was on my top 10 list of the funniest things ever seen. I will never for get the reaction he made. His face was beat red for the rest of the day. He never really found out it was me and the blame always leaned towards my buddy at work.

What are some cool computer pranks? No wallpaper crap either. :D :D

Change the shell to Sol.exe and watch the boss walk by!

Another one I like to do:

Logon to a workstation as an account with exchange admin rights. Setup the mail on the workstation for someones. Go in and start deleting message...

Extending on Sheriff Q's idea, there's a way to manually initiate crashes right? Well make a program that does that..and set THAT as the shell... :D :D :D

I like Calc.exe instead, it's funny :p

Switch the keys around on the keyboard... put duct tape over the mouse ball.

Using X-Setup, you can modify a registry key to initiate a crash.

Change th keyboard in the control panel from English 101 to Devorak left hand. That always freaks them out.

I love messing with my manager when it comes to the computer that him and the other female manager love to be on when they should be on the floor with us. So anything I can do to mess with them I do. I have a limited amout of access to what I can do.
Today I changed his tool bar on him and he almost went nuts trying to change it back. I had to since he couldnt figure it out.
Now I would really like to get this woman one she trully gets on my nerves. Shes always on the computer doing stuff just to sit on her butt.

hmmm this was a prank that happened to me :(

all of the sudden i started getting calls on my cell phone for a car for sale. i wasnt sure why. i even got a voice mail from a guy who is really intrested in buying this car im sapposly selling. well theres only one person in the world that could do this and that is evil. its this girl i go out with. well it ended up being she put an add on the internet about me selling a 97 bmw for 2200 dollers. :mad: when i found out she almost died laughing i told her to go to hell, but she took the ad out :mad: (this is the same person who i think is throwing stuff at my car)


well anyway for revenge i subscribed her to recieve free condoms samples and free lubrications and ky jelly samples to her house. she lives with her parents so her parents will see her ky jelly and condoms .

1) tape the mouse ball :)
2) unplug the keyboard
3) Install the Mac Emulator
4) Change all the shortcuts on the desktop to either porn sites or to other programs :) ( may want to back up icons befor hand)
5) Have a porn video load on startup (a good small one)
6) write a bat file to delete everything and anything from the c: (root drive) to the c:\windows directory put it in autoexec.bat or in startup
7) If you work does not allow MP3's make a program to loadup on startup and search the hard drive for mp3's then display them and pretend to email all of them to your boss from him (Did this to a whole section at my work) program must not beable to kill, make it so it will not show up in taskbar nor task manager :)

I know you said no wallpaper gags, but this one rulez. do a printscreen of the desktop, turn on active desktop, select hide icons when viewed as a web page, and then set the wallpaper to the screenshot of the desktop you took. I have driven many people bananas with this little gag. :p

A budy of mine and I took the sound files from AOL and joined them together in this very long string repeating "welcome" Goodbye" "You've Got Mail", and the door opening and all the other sounds. It was a good minute long. Then we associated the wav file with all actions and sat back and watched... It was great....
