A.I. Game... Officially unofficial

The story so far...

Is anybody here participating in the big A.I. (Spielberg/DreamWorks movie) game? I first heard about it last night on TechTV. Supposedly there are over 25 bogus web pages for it. By "bogus" I mean that the sites pretend to be legitimate companies (hat stores, colleges, toy stores, personal home pages, rogue robot retrieval services, etc.
A site called Cloudmakers.org is keeping track of people's progress. However, nobody admits to running game in the first place!
The premise of the game is that your trying to solve a murder. There are clues hidden in various websites which link to other websites. One thing they showed on TechTV were tiny notches in the banner of a site. If you converted the number of notches into numbers it gave you a phone number. Call the phone number and you get "Mother" (a computer) giving you further instructions.
Nobody knows for sure who's running the game, if there will be a prize, or when it will end. Some people stumbled on the clues, enlisted others, and found this massive "conspiracy game" (for lack of a better term). There are plenty of puzzles that people haven't solved yet. Here's one for example: http://www.familiasalla-es.ro/doomed1.htm
If you're curious, visit Cloudmakers.org and check out the progress people have made so far. They explain everything a lot better than I could.
