About the millionth time this question has been asked...

I am tired of not having a custom avatar, it's so anonymous using the defaults. How do I implement this?

You find an avatar 7k or less
you mail it to scott at [email protected]
you make the appropriate grovelling noises and about a week later your profile will show the ability to load a custom avatar....

Send your avatar with your member number to [email protected]

For appropriate size, I'd go with 100x100 pixels maximum.

Are there any copyright infringments about this? Could I send a transformers logo or Tron logo? Or does it have to be something custom? I can't remember seeing any avatars that weren't too custom if you know what I mean. Willy Paycheck

Did the issue of spaces or underscores in user names ever get resolved?

Last I heard, it was still not possible to get set up with an avatar in those instances.

Hmmm, there are some poeple who's avatar is larger than 100x100, how did this happen?

Directed with utmost respect to those whose avatars are jumbo sized.

I have no idea, but that is just plain unfair.
