Just got home from first day at my new mall cop job! It totally kicks major anal area! I got to throw down on a shoplifter, and go to chase a guy down and hold him at gunpoint while the local police type figures got there! I am a geek at heart, but if I get a couple raises, this job could do it for a long time!

One time I pretended I was working undercover for the FBI when I was a bag boy at the local grocery store.
Some punk kid looked suspicious, so, I went and followed him, (typical stereotypical scenario :) )
I was in the back room and was peeking through a crack and he was looking all around deciding whether or not to plant a package of lifesavers, (not the little rolls, a WHOLE PACKAGE), he decided to and i promptly walked out of the back room and followed him until he walked out the door. If he was smart he would have put it down because we can not press charges while they are in the store, but he was dumb. He walked outside and I grabbed his arm and told him to stay put.
The manager had his way with him and what did I get?
nothing. hum.
oh yeah. You get a gun?

You're being paid to carry a gun? That's pretty good, considering you don't need police training. :D

Cool!! Hell yeah,.. sounds like a fun new job. I just recently started my new job at Home Depot too. I get to wear an orange apron that holds a box cutter and tape measure. And I get to walk up and down ladders carrying heavy boxes all day. :D
I forgot to mention that I have an associates in criminal justice, 2 years police firearms and sharpsooter training, and numerous hours in the classroom learning the use of force. I am a level 10 security officer, that's one step under a cop.
And yes, the Ruger KP96 9mm is on my belt at all times, as well as cuffs, mace, and a python 6"-24" baton.

The uniform looks like a state trooper dress uniform. Black pants, white shirt, full badging, and the flat brim "smokey bear" hat. I think it looks good, and the girlfriend is major-league turned on by the uniform!
Sweet. If the girlfriend is turned on, that's all that matters anyway. :D ;) :D
