in Colorado
Well, I made it. Transmission line exploded on the way out and I got trans fluid alllll down the underside of my car and on the back bumper and tail lights. Not pretty. BUT! I did meet some really really nice people (one, thank god, was a mechanic) and helped me get my butt back on the road. Total downtime - 3 hours  and if you're wondering how much fluid I lost...well, trans takes 5, +cooler takes 1...I put in 4 1/2 quarts............NOT good
Anyway, the trip out here wasn't all bad -- St. Louis screwed me over a good one (4 lanes down to 1 w/o much warning on 270) and Kansas had what seemed like a 80mph wind goin on, and of course, a headwind to slow me down a bit. (I was hopin for tornado! :D ) -- no cops 'tagging' the whole way. Actually followed one though Illinois (doin 85) so that helped me a little.
Yesterday, I didn't do jack. Slacked off and played GT3 on the playstation. Tomorrow we're hikin' up the mountain, so I'll have a bunch of good pictures as soon as I can :D
If I wouldn't have had my happy transmission problem, I would've got here around 9-10pm MST, but instead, 12:30   ...I hate transmissions.

Colorado Springs is beautiful. Say hello to Pike's Peak for me. If you got the time do the Route 24 Loop through Leadville and up to I-70 at Beaver Creek (or take a detour to Breckenridge) - back to Denver, get to go through the Ike Tunnel, and down I-25 to Colorado Springs. I hope you have a wonderful time. :D

Have fun in the mountains.

Dude, whatcha doin' here in CO? And yeah, Major Kong's right, Colorado Springs is pretty spiff. Check out Garden of the Gods if you get the time. And if for some ungodly reason you have to stop into the Best Buy near the Citadel mall, stop in and say hi. I'll take a moments concentration from refraining from killing the general public to say howdy. :)
