I am not really into meaningless posting, but this one has been going around the web lately, and I thought those of you who haven't seen it might enjoy it...
My daughter can do wonders with a sharpie, but she hasn't done this yet...

Every time I think of the biological clock and stuff I see something like this and it clears that crap up real quick.

Ya, well I have 5 and believe you me, stuff like that happens.
I bought a $300 chiffrobe for my 4 year old, and spent HOURS staining it with a clear white stain, and 4 days after I finished it, she drew ALL over it with a sharpie...
Thanks to my wife, my daughter is still alive today... :)
My personal favorite 'kid mess' was always the "diarrhea all the way down into the feet of their pajama's" mess..... :eek: :( :eek:
ITs so totally worth it thou when they give you a hug and say they are sorry and that they love you. So I would say Give me another one.
but the pic.. Did make me shudder a little.lol

I'm not a parent and even I know that kids and Sharpie markers should never be in the same house.

It doesn't look like a sharpie (more like one of those markers with fruit smells that kids are given), but it's still a mess to clean up. Our younger daughter, Bethany, would draw all over herself when she was little. In fact, she would do just about anything unless you explicitly told her not to. For example...
I remember Bethany, when she was 2 - 3 years old, getting into a flour bag in the pantry. We found her sitting on the floor with her little plastic measuring cups, carefully measuring out flour and dumping it onto the floor. When my wife asked her what she thought she was doing, she said, "Measuring out flour just like Mommy." How can you punish her for that? So my wife said, "I don't ever want to see you do that again." Awhile later, when things were quiet, too quiet, she called out for Bethany. "Here, Mommy," came the response from under the kitchen table. There she was, again carefully measuring out flour with her little plastic measuring cups and dumping it onto the floor. Before my wife could say anything, Bethany said, "It's OK, Mommy. I'm hiding under the table because you said you didn't want to see me doing this." No response was possible, however, my wife edged closer to a breakdown... :D

This reminds me of a funny story as to why I say "Don't make kids take a nap if they don't want to."
When I was a wee lad before I was in school (about 3 or 4) my mother told me that I had to take a nap but I really didn't want to. So she forced me and I, eventually, got on the couch and took a nap... so she thought. I was, being curious since I didn't want to nap, diggind around in the couch and found a pen. I wrote, in blue pen, over the entire course of my body for the next 20 minutes before my mother came in to check on me. She never made me take a nap I didn't want again :D
