Mouseware
I had Logitech Mouseware on my system. I just bought MS Intellipoint and would like to install the software. When I try to uninstall Mouseware thru Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, I get an error message that it cannot find the files. When I try to delete the driver thru Control Panel/System/Hardware it tells me to reboot, but after I do the &%$#% driver is still there. I can't install IntelliPoint because it tries to delete the Mouseware but then says it can't find it. I've manually deleted any Logitech files I can find. There is a reference to Logitech and MouseWare I found using RegEdit. Could that be the problem? Is it ok to delete those?
Thanks,
Harold

When playing with the registry, ALWAYS first export the current registry, so that you can reimport it if things go wrong... to do this, file, export and save it to a place you can easily find... e.g. c:\reg
Look at the keys, and make a note of the files they refer to (if any) and then find those files and rename them.
Now delete the logitech keys and reboot... you should be fine.

Just a shot, maybe you've already tried this, but if you download Mouseware and install it over your messed-up installation, it may uninstall more cleanly.

DS - The reinstall and re-uinstall worked great, thanks.
NN - Thanks for the info on RegEdit. Good to know.
