FrontPage2k/Access 2k data access pages with pivot tables
I am working on a department intranet site in which I want to use pivot tables in a web page to access info from an access 2000 .mdb. The database is c:\inetpub\wwwroot\fpdb\contacts.mdb and is published locally to http://webserver. When I try to open the data access page containing the pivot table from any machine other than where the site was created, I get an error that it is not a valid path and I must be connected to the server where the file resides.
This database is published locally to http://webserver, so why does the other pc look to its own hard drive?
If I use an odbc connection, I can view info from the pivot table, but I cannot submit any info (from a feedback form) to this database.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP!
