WHAT IN THE BLUE H$LL IS SPAMMING???????

Okay im playing Quake 3 excessive, Which is mostly all I play cause I like the speed and the intensity.
Well along comes these little boo hooers and start calling me all sorts of names a few I cant mention and most of all a SPAMMER :mad: because im shooting the rocket launcher like theres no tommorow. I mean Ummm HELLLLLLLLLOOOO MCFLY thats what excessive is..
If you cant take the heat.. GET OUT :mad: and go on to the IM A WEAK LOSERS WHO WHINE server. :mad:
Thats what Death Match is one shot stuff.
Why come play where the big dogs play if you cant handle the game.

When I first started Excessive I never heard this spamming stuff. I think a couple little Whiners came up with that name cause they aint
nothing but a bunch of boys who play worse then girls. :mad:

SPAM = junk email
SPAMMER = somebody who sends out junk email

dont worry i get that too. when i play TFC people get pissed because i spam there resupply room and keep killing them.

spam is when you pretty much have an advantage on someone and you keep killing them where they have no advantage to kill you.


like for example:

in TFC there is a resupply room for the other team where they go and get more life. im the enemy team and i cant go in there the door locks. only members of that team can go inside of it. well if im a demoman i'll put bombs on the door so when they walk out of the room they will die and i can trap them in there, they cannot kill me i have the advantage. right when they walk out the door i kill them.

so im spamming them.

If they can't stand the heat then they need to get out of Milenko's server. I ran into a couple the other day - complaining about
”too many Quad damage” and the “Quad damage is turned up too high” and “too many rockets. . this is not quake etc.” I finally told them bluntly to stop complaining; if they did not like the settings on this server, then leave, but stop whining and have some fun.

Why don't you post a thread in the Steam Room and give us the details? That way if any of us run into them, we can come to your defense.

I know how you feel, in red Faction I got to the point where I wasn't killing any respawns, not picking up the super health and armour and still knocking their socks off. I was accused of cheating all the time (I'm anti-cheat and anti-camp) and called the most horrible names. I found out that the name callers were very young teenage boys who think that it's big and clever to swear at adults.

Do you play with a female name Morticia? I keep my game name ambiguous and only fess up when asked. Boys don't like being beaten by girls, does anyone remember all the hoo haa when John Romero was beaten by Killcreek in Quake. The ingame footage of it was released and she even got into playboy (almost as though she were a freak of nature). Sad innit?

Stevie Case, aka Killcreek, got into playboy becuase she is female and she has some pretty large silicone breasts.

Just last night, my girl and I were playing Rogue Spear. Now I am good. And playing with Minnie, we are pretty near unbeatable..We've been playing for about 4 years together..I know what she's going to do, and I know where she'll be if I need some help..and vice versa. So last night, Minnie was playing decoy..I had already taken out two of the enemy and was circling round back for the last guy. Minnie was behinf crates taking pop shots at him to keep hi attention. I was able to climb up the roof and stand behind him for litterlay 2 minutes!! When he moved to change posistions I blasted him the face with my glock...1 shot, 1 kill..Of course back in the game lobby we heard it.. How did I get behind him, how come minnie wasn't dead...how come this how come that whine whine whine. The the "we're not really girls" crap comes up..Then I tell them that the only weapon I've been using is a Glock 21 9mm and three frag grenades...oh boy They hit the roof, I must be cheating cause they can't aim their SSG Commando. Then I get the camper routine cause I stood behind a crate and blasted the guy as he ran right into a 100 yard sqaure open space!! Oh and they hit the roof too when they get blasted by Minine's C4!! Camper camper camper...And I say "Oh we playing Quack?? I thought this was Rogue Spear???"

But I think the most annoying thing I find is the groupies!! The guys who find out they got blasted by girls..suddenly think they on IRC chat room..I had one "male" only ask a/s/l the whole time he was there until he got booted. I hate the ones who thikn cause they are male and I am female that I need to be taught how to play..Like a few nights ago...I have been playing for a while, and minnie has been playing just as long..Usually I use the FNP90 and a glock and she uses M-62 and the Spectre, a Machine pistol...OK so little boy comes in and becuase he played in our room for the past three nights and I think even played against us a while back he thinks he knows how to play better. I mean we WHUPPED HIM...10 games ina row and I think I got killed once only becuase I was bait to lure him out so minnie could get him.. In the game staging area he starts rediculing minnie for using the same gun she's been using for the last few years!!

One thing we demand, Morticia, is a swear/curse free room. We have it posted on the chat screen header and it is strictly followed. We boot anyone for their second offense for anything stronger than damn. It keeps the kiddies out...

Oh and another thing, mebbe some of you have heard of this, but can you please explain to me the facination with raping/humping? Apaprently all the males say it so flippantly..example "You guys got raped that last round!" and humping is where after they kill a person the game allows you to crouch or squat, so after they kill they squat/stand/squat over the body, which is called humping..splain to me why this is fun? Splain to me why I should allow these tards into our room?

its funny when stupid people start calling me bad names, i get a kick out of it and i hit them back with worse names and they get pissed. i remmeber on a server the enemy team didnt care about getting my flag they where trying to kill me, but they couldnt.


i do talk smack on serverers, its funny.


i just hate when i play against people who are the admins and they get all pissed because they suck and they ban me from there servers

Spamming respawns gets you kicked out of many a server. Thats one of the most lame things you can do.

I was on the WD Q3 server a couple nights ago and I am not really that good, but I was laying the SMACK down on these 3 jokers that I had never seen in there before. I, like you, was melting the walls with all the rocket fire I was laying down. They kept cursing me calling me a rocket spammer, and eventually left. I thought this is the reason you play excessive! If you don't like the rapid fire, go play on a freeze tag server!

yes spamming is lame but funny, i dont do it alot.

every once in a while i'll be an engie and build a sentury gun infront of the enemy respawn its funny.

but the servers ive been on didnt kick me because of that.

they kick me because they think im cheating and have some kind of a hack or something, usually when im a sniper

When I play chess on-line (www.kungfuchess.com) with four players, at least one is always whining about either people supposedly teaming on him, lag, or because he only has a king left and doesn't understand why he was killed since he was the weakest. I normally just ignore them.

Sorry to reply again but I don't get this spamming stuff. I thought that you went in on multiplayer and if you could stay alive you got all the guns and loads of ammo, the natural advantage of talented play. I thought this was the whole point, getting to the top of the tree and staying there. If this is now called spamming, what are players supposed to do? Run around and wait until all the other players are maxed out, weapons and ammo, and then start shooting? Can someone please explain to me the new rules and ettiquette of muliplay (or as I always knew it, Deathmatch) cos I'm way out of touch. The only rules I used to work by were go in, grab what you can, kill, kill, kill.

There aren't any ethics in this equation, it's just a bunch of whiners who are trying to make you feel sorry for thier pathetic existence. I say beat them into submission. With the whiners it takes a little while longer, but eventually they figure it out.

You know, getting pasted is all part of the game. These guys dont have any fun unless they are "the man"(or woman) and they just cant have any fun if they die some. I have fun regardless because I actully get a kick out of it. If someone kills me enough times I start laughing so hard that I can no longer fight effectively for all the tears in my eyes from laughter. Heck, I have so much fun at dieing that I have spent entire evenings trying to find interesting ways to suicide myself or interesting ways for other people to kill me just so I can keep the fun going. Everyone else gets a kick out of it too. and NO im not sick! :D :D


Bottom line....some people need to lighten up and realize that this is supposed to be fun! Its competition but its FRIENDLY competition!
