Red Faction
I'm kinda so so on this game -- I love the idea of being able to tear though walls and such but the game its self is ...cartoonish I guess. guns are inaccurate as hell -- thats my biggest peve (1st shot should be really close to where I'm aiming)
Anyway, just my thoughts.

I played this game, it's only any good in multiplay, played it everynight for 2 months running own server, but the online cheaters have completely ruined it and it is now gone from my hard drive. If you want good online play, stick to AOD Stomping Ground as this server is policed well and all cheats are kicked. Only problem is you have to download all the map packs so I hope you haven't got dial-up. The level editor is excellent and easy to use, I managed to produce some new levels and have an almost complete one (you can finish it if you want) that I am not working on anymore (cos of wiping game from system).

A thing I forgot, one of the most popular custom made maps is CTF_Batons (it is considered bad sport to use the pistol) this is the biggest fun I had in a long time. I laughed so much I couldn't play right. I agree the game looks cartoonish though and for those of us waiting for a decent ending to a game, it's not with this one.
