VPN and AOL

Got a small problem.

Owner of the company wants to be able to connect to the network by VPN. Problem is, he uses AOL.

One of our accountants had found last year that you can't use VPN over an AOL connection. She ended up getting a DSL connection. Any searches that I have done on the Net has come up with the same result: You Can't Do It. The reason is that the AOL connection is using a VPN connection.

As I see it, my best option is to tell him to go get a broadband connection and give AOhelL the boot. Any other ideas?
