I have just upgraded my pc with xp pro, so I no longer need my win 98 and xp home edition upgrade, I did register them with microsoft.
My question is, can I now sell the xp home upgrade on? I am obviously in no longer need of it?

The theory goes, yes, provided you sell it with the licence booklets and everything that came in the box... in reality check with M$, I was wandering around their licencing site this afternoon and came away with a headache...
If the win98 was oem than it must go with the machine. I don't see why you can't sell the WinXP upgrade since it is a retail version.
Yes you can sell it, provided that everything is included. No you do not have to give up the 98 licence as well as long as you are not using XP pro on an upgrade from 98 i.e. you have 98>XPhome>XPpro. Its kinda like when you do an upgrade, the product that was upgraded dies. Its weird
