Floppy Drive

In Windows ME every time I open Favourites in internet explorer it scans my floppy drive, how do I stop this? have checked anti virus software and cleared recent docs

There wouldn't happen to be a link to an html file you were keeping on the floppy would there?:confused:

That's about all I can see it being. If you really need to stop it, (I mean in the next few hours to keep from driving you crazy), try reinstalling IE.

A drastic approach but it should work.

Delete your recent documents in your start menu.
