Log on as administrator go to the exe file of the application and add in the user as having full control of that app.
there is nothing under the properties of the .exe file to do such a thing...
Is this XP Home or pro. If Pro got to windows explorer click on tools folder options view and uncheck use simple file sharing. Then select properties of the exe and the security tab and add in the user.
You could try copying the exe into the all users\start menu\programs section of the documents and settings.
Ok, I tried all that and everything but the problem actually seems to be the "owner" is the only one who can execute this program.
How can I change the owner to "Everyone"?
Log on as Administrator and install software.
But read the page on installing software first.
After you've installed a program, open Windows Explorer and copy the program's shortcut to each of the \Desktop folders in each of the user's profiles.
Log off as administrator and log on as one of the limited users. Test the shortcut to make sure the program runs properly from within a limited user account.
This is the page on installing software.http://www.jimthompson.net/xphome/In...ngSoftware.htm
