Anyone try removing EZBIOS with WD's Latest diagnostic tool?
All tests says the drive is good but in advanced mode in install/setup to change or remove EZBIOS the drive isn't detected. What am I missing here?

Hmm, did you let the drive boot then hit the key combo to boot from floppy?
Sorry for the late reply to your question, yes tried both ways, but I figured it out. The jumper was set to master on the drive originally so I moved it to cable select ran the diagnostics and wiped the drive in that mode, no problem at all. The switch to a Promise controller may have aided somewhat. It is much faster.
