Version .92 - .90 Modem Drivers
Here is my dilemma:
I installed a new modem about three months ago, and just let XP install the generic drivers, v.90. Soon after I decided to install the drivers that came with the modem, v.92 drivers. Turns out that my ISP cannot handle v.92 yet, so I had to drop the line speed down using the command AT+MS=V34,0 . That worked out fine until I noticed the phone line was not getting disconnected occasionally. It almost seemed like the modem was not giving out a disconnect command.
Now, what I think I have to do is re-install the generic XP drivers.
How would I go about removing the old v.92's, and reinstalling the v.90's?
Is there another way around my problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks to anyone who replies in advance.
