Since you can't decide, you can just buy them both and send them to me. I will try them out, then let you know which one was best :)Quote:

Get UT2003 for now - U2 is single player and will be about 8 hours' worth of playing time.
U2 is a bigger system hog than UT2003.Quote:

I personally like the storyline of U2. The graphics, maps, models and weapons are mind blowing. The Skaarj are truly incredible to just watch on U2.
If you want the multiplay experience as Adept said UT2003. There are tons of maps out there, I would say about 60 to 80% are good quality amateur made maps. The rest and pretty scary. Digital Extremes (?) have just released a bonus pack for UT2003 with 6 new maps. The best maps are the three deathmatch maps because two of them are maps that are on the Unreal Championship for XBox and those maps are awesome.
Epic is close to releasing their bonus pack which is going to contain three new modes of play. One mode being a co-op multiplay (with bots or online I would assume) where you fight wave after wave of monsters (they look like they are from the original Unreal game). I think it will include two new adrenaline combos as well as new maps too.
I bought U2. I found like the original Unreal that it was merely OK. Nothing mind blowing. I am returing it tomorrow and getting C&C: Generals instead. I am sticking with UT2003. Much more to do. I just wish I could figure out how to use some of the new maps in SP so I can practice against some bots before going online and getting my @$$ kicked.
where did you buy it that lets you return software for something different?Quote:

Electronics Boutique allows you to do this one time per purchase.
Just finished it last Friday.
I like the storyline and the graphics were downright impressive.
The plot wasn't exactly rocket science and I had already figured out the outcome about 2/3 of the way in. There's not much freedom in the way the story unfolds.
What really got to me were the "environmental" graphics - the scenery, the landscape.
It truly hit the target in that regard, IMO.
Not something I'll be playing forever, but very interesting if you're looking for a quick single player FPS.
Aida is hot.
It looked nice, I didnt care for the movement, it kinda felt like you had boards strapped to your arms legs and back. The weapon SFX were very nicely done, but the weapons were not very original
