Lost Data?
I have a serious problem and I am not sure if there is anyway back. I have a Win NT Server that acts as a File Sharing Server.
I was accidentally on the Server the other day and deleted some info out. It is not in the Recycle Bin....how can I get it back.
The tapes that were backing up the Server had failed from the night before so they will not work.
I tried GetDataBack Demo Version, and a few other Recover but none seem to work. I haven't tried EasyRecovery yet?
Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, or tools that I can use to retrieve this data?

Does that work for Win NT. It doesn't seem to want to install.

Try Undelete for NT by Executive Software. Works like a charm...

easy recovery would be my choice. it has never failed me yet, including 14,000 infectied files from virii.
good luck to you. did you delete from a network drive? that would be why i believe

PC inspector saved my butt one weekend, I typed format c: instead of format D: and promptly erased all my Dad's data on his c drive
I had NO back ups
I ran another file recovery tool and got maybe 5% of the data, Well PC inspector got 100% of the Xp partition back, This is after using Maxblast to copy an operational Win 98se partition over the XP ntfs partition and then the format over that when I typed format c: instead of d :
PC inspector rescued the XP partition and I was able to copy it back onto an old ten gig drive I had laying around
That was amazing, I knew that a standard format will not erase the data only a good zero fill
I may try PC inspector on other formatted drives and see what I get, Good little piece of free ware :)
