Looking at Felten's article from the link provided it would seem that https would be illegal too since the website is concealed from your ISP by encryption.

So, umm, how are they going to detect my presence if I am behind a stealth firewall and I don't respond to pings? :confused: And what if I'm in Canada? I dare you to try and extradite me :D

Someone should remind Big Brother that if all the little brothers unite together they can whoop his a$$.

I'd love to see the state-house and other state/federal websites take down their firewalls. I'll set my watch to see how long it takes before the congressional servers get taken down.

But working at a bank, we're federally mandated to HAVE a firewall. Oh - what to do!:rolleyes:
