Music CD-Rs and DATA CD-Rs
Has anyone found a real difference between CD-Rs labeled for music use and CD-Rs labeled for DATA use when used to record music? I've found all kinds of discs for recording data, but when it comes for CD-Rs for music all I've come across are either Memorex or TDK and they're expensive compared to just the plain DATA discs. Is there a real difference in clarity between the two? Is it worth buying CD-Rs labeled for music when you want to make a back up copy of a music CD?
The reason I ask is because I've got one of them front load CD players in my car and I don't like the idea of using the CDs I bought for $18 each just to scratch them up. I figure if I can create a back up and play the back up in the slot load CD player, if the copy gets too beat up, I can always burn an other. So is there really a noticable difference between Music and DATA CD-Rs for recording music with?
