ah well, i never made it into there anyway, i think i still dont have enough posts...
were the posts reset in the last year, because i went for about 6 months without visiting, and i had to re-register, or re-activate my account or soemthing...
I want it back :(
It was abloished because some people wanted a forum where they could say or do whatever they wanted. Eventually, somebody took offense to something that was said (I don't know what, since I never had or wanted access) and it ended up that a lot of friendships were destroyed and many veteran valuable members left the site.
I honestly don't know why anybody wants that again.
The steam room and any likeness thereof should permanently stay burried where it is.
We thinned the herd of those too weak to deal with reality, and it is time to cull again!!!!

Actually the problem stemmed from several people disagreeing with the public flogging of a member by a moderator, another moderator got involved later, and it ended up turning into the “this town ain’t big enough for the both of us” situation. The attitudes spewed out all over the rest of the forum. Everyone was compelled to pick side, even some of us that thought we were in the middle ended up picking sides. It was ugly and it ended up, as Cleetus so eloquently put it, a massive house cleaning was in order. So I guess without burning offenders at the stake, the steam room was closed for good.
I sure do miss the gratuitous nudity threads that always popped up. Although there was a certain spaceman that took a little too much pride in disgusting us all…but it was all in good fun.
Many left on their own, some stayed. Me, I have nowhere else to go…
it was cool while it lasted. A bunch of the sissies that couldn't hadle it whined and cried and got it killed.
they wanted something, they got it, and then cried about it becuase it was exactly waht they wanted.
some seriously cool things went on in there. It's a damn shame that some members had to go ruin it fo reverybody.
coincidently, these ex-members refuse to even come here anymore.
it's all a bunch of woman sh!t.

the steam room was nice with all the nudy pics they posted and the wierd pics spiffman would post.
but to many people took stuff personally when it was sappose to be a place for friends to hang out and look at nudie pics.
speaking of him where did he go and the other members did they just go to another forum or just completed stoped going to forums?
or do they have there own forums, i would visit there forums to say hi.
Problem with the steam room (and the internet in general) is that people can say things that would get them a slap (or a full blown *** kicking) in a real room.
