Photo-quality color laser printers...
Hey team, long time no see:
I need to reccomend a quality laser printer to a client. He is an endodontist (think root canals) and will be taking digital X-rays with intra-oral sensors. We usually hook these clients up with a nice HP or Epson inkjet, but this guy wants to print A LOT, and he doesn't like waiting 45 seconds for inkjet output.
I'm thinking of a user friendly, 1200x1200, excellent quality color laser printer for him, but I have never had the pleasure of playing with this technology, so I don't know what to suggest. It does not have to be a diagnostic quality/medical grade printer as the diagnosis happens on the monitor. The output usually goes to the patient's general dentist or to an insurance company. So as long as we can achieve quality as good as some of these inkjets, happiness shall be achieved. I'd like to keep it around or under $2000 US as well.
Thanks for any tips!
