There was a lawsuit similar to that, a company allowed computers to go out with command.com on them so they would boot to hard drive....yep they were sued, I never did hear the outcome though.

I remember hearing about that one. It was dismissed since they no longer could profit from it anymore.

End of the computer age?

I have just 3 things to ask about this ad:

1) How many kids in school would want to buy (or copy) a science program that the school had?

2) Why did Microsoft help fund a anti- piracy ad using a mac in the video?

3) I know that myself (and 1000's of others) have copied programs over the years. Did I miss the end of the computer age when they stopped making programs?

Seriously, thanks. That was just what I needed to end a long day at work. :D
